The claw is the whole argument: five fingers pulled from one gather, speckled while hot so the frost wraps each knuckle without a seam. The red ring is there because the piece needed one warm note and refused anything bigger.

Below the claw the rig is deliberately plain — clear walls, a straight stem, a bell base. The function was kept quiet so the sculpture could be loud.
