A low, horizontal form in desert green, shot through with flecks that catch light like mica in sand.
The speckle is dichroic glass, crushed and rolled into the surface before the final shaping. It reads flat green in shadow and turns metallic the moment a light source moves across it.
The body is deliberately squat. It sits in a palm rather than between fingers, and the flared end gives the piece somewhere to rest that is not its most fragile point.
