Deep cobalt with a candy-twist column through its centre, built around a loop that keeps the water in orbit.

The twist is a single striped cane, spun as it was pulled so the amber and sky blue chase each other the full height of the neck. Keeping the pitch even is the hard part; the glass wants to spin faster at the thin end.

The body is opaque cobalt, which recyclers rarely are — you hear this one work rather than watch it. The trade was made for the colour, and the colour won.
