Oasis Vortex
A spiral pulled tight enough to look like it is still turning, finished on a standard 14 mm joint.
Slides are where a maker's habits show. There is nowhere to hide a wobble: the joint has to be true or the piece is decoration, so this one was ground and checked before any colour work was allowed to matter.
The vortex is worked from the centre outward, which is why the green tightens as it approaches the middle rather than spacing out evenly.
