Recyclers are plumbing before they are sculpture: the loop has to lift the water, spin it, and hand it back without a stall. The wrap went on afterwards, section by section, so the fire colours follow the same path the water takes.

The blue core is solid glass, heavier than it has any right to be. It sits at the centre of the cycle and gives the eye somewhere to rest while everything around it is moving.
